i remember when i was younger i used to stay up late to watch johnny carson. i used to hate it when someone filled in for him (like leno!) and it took me by surprise to find out leno was taking over. i can’t remember how long ago that was, but i’ve found out (with 5 years notification) that conan is going to be taking over. it would seem it wasn’t exactly leno’s choice but you gotta do what you gotta do, you know? i mean, he has 5 more years, and nbc gets to keep conan. it’s not like leno will have nothing.

i can see him getting into politics rather easily. and he could probably take kerry if they ever got into a chin war! i dont know. i haven’t really been watching the tonight show… in fact i haven’t really been watching tv…

as for who should take conan’s slot? i’d want ellen degeneres! but chances are it’ll be carson daly assuming he sticks with the whole talk show thing.
