windows. xp

doesn’t the xp look like an emoticon? tilt your head to the left a bit if you don’t see it. anyway…

i’m on my mom’s laptop now. trying to see if can get this poor machine back into shape. spyware, and just random crappy autostart programs… eesh… i used to think my two year old powerbook was slow. not compared to this 1 year old hp pavilion.. maybe it’s a serious lack of ram. it’s got less than 256MB… i’m sure that’s a major bottleneck.

if i had money, i’d buy my mom more ram.

secondly… this poor thing feels like a toy compared to my titanium beast. and with the default windows “luna” style… just stamp fisher price on the bottom and let’s get it done with…

i need a second computer. i (gasp) might even need a windows computer. as a web designer, i can’t just turn my back on what amounts to everyone else in the world. “aww, does the website look like crap? that’s cause you’re on windows, sucka!”

In VC101, we learned that all macs are more accurate with their pantone than Windows. So a blue on a Mac might look purple on a PC. Or vice versa.

Not surprisingly, my teacher is a Mac fanatic.

bah.. more mac propaganda.. his statement is so … loaded.

he should have said macs in their default setting are more color accurate (depending on the monitor).
