I recently posted about something from September, and I thought I should offer an explanation. Instead of posting about the latest thing sweeping the Internet, and adding to the noise, I decided to postpone publication for 6 months. In a similar vein, I’m also digging through various archives and looking for things that were interesting enough to be brought back for a second look. Behold! The Internet Time Capsule.

The first of these to go live is a post about John McCain’s “The One” ad from September. The ad was published a few weeks before Wall Street melted down. Was 6 months enough time for us to come down from the hysteria that was the 2008 Election Cycle? Are we looking back at this high on a completely different hysteria?
