I’ve added a search box to tweetme.me.
It basically does what it says on the tin. Enjoy!

I decided to release my Twitter-based map after playing around with it in one of my upcoming projects.
This site basically tries to figure out where you are through various methods and fallbacks, does a search on Twitter and plots recent and geocoded tweets onto a map.
Caveat: Currently, the latest WebKit nightlies automatically refuse to return a geolocation, but the shipping version of Safari should work. I tested in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and IE 8 & 7.
Enjoy!
I’ve put together a quick port of Jim’s Modern Bubbling theme for Adium for Kiwi (a new theme-able twitter client, with rules!).
It’s actually a complete rewrite, with some changes, but I tried to remain fairly close to the aesthetic.
I’ve added a hook for “muting” tweets: In the rules tab, choose “Add a CSS class” for the action, and type in “mute” (sans quotes). This will take those tweets that match down to about 30% opacity.
